İSTANBUL- Hasan Demir, father of Emre Can Demir who was threatened with death by the soldiars working in the prison Antalya Type L that he has been a prisoner at, applied to IHD İstanbul Branch. Father Demir said he is afraid for his son's life.
The family of Emre Can Demir who is currently a prisoner in Antalya Type L Prison and was subjected to the death threats of the soldiars after his hearing, have made a press statement in Human's Rights Association they applied for legal help. A banner was used in the press statement " Prisoner Emre Can Demir's right to life must be protected."
'HE IS BEING THREATENED WITH A GUN IN HIS HEAD'
" The first time we attended his hearing, there was a wall of flesh built by the soldiars arounf him. My son's right to defence was violated and he was lynched by the soldiars. They took him to another car after his hearing and put shackles in his ankles and threaten his life on the way to the prison. And when they arrived they put him in a cell alone, naked, and thretened that they will kill him by saying " We will kill you. We have killed many people like you.We destroyed them and we will destroy you too."
Father Demir who stated that they will file a criminal complaint about the matter, called on to the authorities to denunciate about the offenders.
