MERSİN- Within the scope of the investigation carried out by the Antalya Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, Çukurova TUHAD-FED was raided.
Within the scope of the investigation carried out by the Antalya Chief Public Prosecutor's Office against the Çukurova Federation of Prisoner’ Families Legal and Solidarity Associations (TUHAD-FED), many addresses in the rural districts of Mersin were raided by the police. 9 people were detained during the raids carried out simultaneously by the soldiers early in the morning.
The detainees were taken to Akdeniz District Gendermerie Command. It was learned that they were accused of sending money to prisoners.
The names of those detained are as follows: Former administrators of TUHAD-FED Çukurova Celal Yel, Hasan Vadi, Ali Bilen, Kadri Ezen, Nermin Aktuğ, Diyar Turgut, Eylem Turgut, Serhat Turgut and Yener Aydın.
Within the scope of the same investigation, Songül Şarklı and Selma Yavuz, members of Peoples' Democratic Party (HDP) Party Assembly (PM), were detained in house raids in Antalya.
