ANKARA - Selahattin Demirtaş's attorney Mahsuni Karaman, who made a statement regarding the Kobanê indictment, said, "The Ankara Chief Prosecutor's Office made the solution process a crime in the new Kobané indictment, and CB Erdoğan and his friends were also made 'anonymous defendants' in that perspective.
Mahsuni Karaman, the attorney of former Peoples' Democratic Party (HDP) Co-Chair Selahattin Demirtaş, who is currently detained in Edirne F-Type Prison since 2016, made a statement from his social media account regarding the indictment prepared within the scope of the 3 thousand 530-page "Kobanê investigation". Karaman claimed that the AKP's President Tayyip Erdogan could face trial within the scope of to the "solution process".
'ARE THEY PREPARING TO SUE ERDOĞAN?'
Karaman drew attention to the fact that the real surprise in the 3.500 page indictment was not an 'anonymous witness' this time, but an 'anonymous defendant' and said: " I guess the real surprise in the 3.500 page indictment is the 'anonymous defendant' this time instead of an 'anonymous witness'. Ankara Chief Public Prosecutor's Office considered the 'solution process' a crime and made Erdoğan and his friends 'anonymous defendants'. The fact that visiting Qandil within the knowladge and the instruction of the government was considered to be a crime makes Erdoğan and his friends defendants. Is the AKP aware of this? Are they preparing to sue Erdoğan and his friends for the solution process?"
