KOBANÊ -  Kobanê Military Council Co-chair İsmet Şêx Hesen said, "In Kobanê, women set an example to the whole world with their struggle. They prevented the malevolence of Turkey and they were targeted for it", regarding the killing of three women in an Armed UAV attack carried out by Turkey.

While the attacks of Turkey against North and East Syria continue, 3 women lost their lives in an Armed Unmanned Aearial Vehicle (UAV) attack carried out by Turkey. Numerous protests and demonstrations were organized thorughout North and East Syria while the people of the region rebelled against the attack. Speaking about the attack against Halinja village of Kobané, Kobanê Military Council Co-chair İsmet Şêx Hesen said the attack was a revenge against the defeat of ISIS in Kobané. Hesen said the international powers are a partner in this crime with their silence.

Mentioning the three women who lost their lives as a result of the attack, Hesen stated that the attack has more than one meaning in terms of location and timing. Stating that the Kurdish people are being targeted in the person of the women, said that every where populated by the Kurds are under attack. Hesen said: "They had historical ill intentions for Kobané. But every place populated by the Kurds are under attack. They are targeting South Kurdistan today. They killed scores of civillians in South Kurdistan. They displaced hundreds of thousands of people. The attack against the Halinja village was in fact an attack against the women. These women were recognized and respected by the people. The fact that these women were targeted has an intense meaning. The ISIS they love so much was defeated by the women. Erdoğan has a grudge for that. Who defeated ISIS in Kobané? It was our female comrades. This must be known by everyone. Women lead the revolution in Kobané with their struggle and they set an example to the whole world. And they also prevented the malovelence and the ill intentions of Turkey and they were targeted for it. They murdered three of our comrades. It is not a common thing to target civillians bombed in their homes. The first took place in Kobané. They are avanging the defeat of ISIS. They would do more if they could."

INTERNATIONAL POWERS ARE PARTNERS OF THIS CRIME

Stating that they have not carried out any attack against Turkey after the agreement they made with Russia and the Syrian regime, Kobanê Military Council Co-chair İsmet Şêx Hesen reminded that they have withdrawn their forces 30 kilometers in from the border. Pointing out that they have fulfilled their part of the agreement so far, Hesen said: "Turkey can not bomb Kobané without the knowladge and permission of Russia. It seems that Russia, Turkey and USA has an agreement among themselves. They are trying to intimidate the people with assasinations. They are trying to prevent the role women play. Erdoğan wants to target Kobané again which is a thorn in his side after 5 years. He wants to complete his plan. Russia and USA endorse this plan with their silence. Therefore, Russia knew about this attack. Because they assumed responsibility and guaranorship of this place and we complied. We withdrew our forces. But they came and killed us in our home. Russia says 'I am responsible for this region'. Turkey can not carry out this attack without the knowladge of Russia."

Underlining that USA and Russia have to make their position clear on the attacks against North and East Syria, Hesen said: "You have to do what is necessary if you assume responsibility for a place. If you don't do it, you are responsible for that attack. If you do not fulfil your responsibility in accordance with the agreement, the patrols done in this place are meaningless."

Hesen underlined that the whole world have to see these attacks against the Kurds and decide on their position against it. Stating that the whole Kurdish community must uprise in the face of these attacks, Hesen said: "What is being targeted here is not Kobané. It is the Kurdish people. Therefore we have to ensure our unity and protect our values. We must protect our lands everywhere we are."
