The immunities of Leyla Güven, Musa Farisoğulları and Enis Berberoğlu are lifted 2020-06-04 15:50:30   NEWS CENTER - The legistlative immunities and the parliamentary membership of Democratic Society Congress Co-Chair and HDP Hakkari MP Leyla Güven, HDP Diyarbakır MP Musa Farisoğulları and CHP İstanbul MP Enis Berberoğlu are lifted as their summary of proceedings regarding their conclusive prison sentences are officially announced in the Grand National Assembly of Turkey.   Parliamentary Council of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey has given the final decision of lifting the legistlative immunity of three members of the parliament, two of them from Peoples' Democratic Party (HDP) and one from the Republican People's Party (CHP) as it was requested to be finalized in the earlier proposition submitted to the parliament today. As the decision was finally announced the immunity and the parliamentary membership of Democratic Society Congress Co-Chair and HDP Hakkari MP Leyla Güven, HDP Diyarbakır MP Musa Farisoğulları and CHP İstanbul MP Enis Berberoğlu were lifted.    Following the announcement of the decision tension increased at the Turkish Parliament. CHP Group Deputy Chairman Engin Altay raised objection that the decision is a violation of the Constitution.
