Gezi Park is closed

	İSTANBUL - Taksim Square and the Gezi Park were were both closed and sorrounded with police barriers due to the 7th year of Gezi Park resistance.

	The police took extensive security measures in and around Taksim as the 7th anniversary of the Taksim Gezi Park resistance has arrived. Regardless of the fact that Taksim Solidarity had earlier announced that it would organize actions and events about the 7th year of Gezi through the social media accounts due to the coronavirus pandemic, the police closed all roads leading to Taksim Square and İstiklal Street with barriers.

	The entrances of Gezi Park were also closed with police barriers.
