Don't slaughter your own nature.'   Tree slaughtering in the region extending from Şırnak center to Şenoba Town of Uludere district continues. Thousands of acres of forestland were wiped out to build police stations.   The People's Democratic Party (HDP) Şırnak Deputy Hasan Özgüneş, who reacted to the chopping of trees, stated that the nature in mountain sides of Mount Cudi is being destroyed with the chopping of trees. Özgüneş emphasizing that AKP destroys the nature to make more police stations, said AKP is following a policy of destroying the nature in Kurdistan. Özgüneş said: "They have been burning our forests for years. They say that there was an armed conflict or a war to justify the burning. We know that this is their main pretext. The villagers living here do not want the trees to be chopped. There are trees older than a hundred years here. They are all being chopped down by rangers they brought from other cities."   CALL TO THE RANGERS   Emphasizing that they will raise their voices against the slaughter together with nature lovers and non-governmental organizations, Özgüneş said: "We will stand against this dirty war against nature for an ecological life." Özgüneş addressed to the village guards who destroyed thousands of acres of forestland and said: "From now on, we will continue to raise this issue. Do not destroy your nature, do not be a party in this massacre. Do not kill your own nature for money. They are decieving you. Return from your mistake."
