	DİYARBAKIR - MED TUHAD-FED commemorated Mustafa Koçak, who passed away on the 297th day of his death fast, and made a call for solidarity for the ÇHD lawyers and Grup Yorum member İbrahim Gökçek who are on death fast.

	Med Mezopotamya Federation of Associations in Solidarity with the Families of Prisoners and Convicts, made a statement regarding death fasting Mustafa Koçak who lost his life on the 297th day, stated that the government is trying to get us back to the darkness of medieval era remembered with similar deaths. A call was made in the statement to be in solidarity with Grup Yorum's İbrahim Gökçek and Attorneys Ebru Timtik and Aytaç Ünsal from Contemporary Lawyers' Association (ÇHD). 

	 

	LET'S BE THEIR VOICE

	 

	MED TUHAD-FED's written statement is as follows: "Mustafa Koçak died on the 297th day of his death fast. His only demand was justice and a fair trial. Unfortunately, these reasonable and innocent demands were not met. The fact that Mustafa died from hunger on the first day of the Ramadan, has effected us deeply. We want to offer our condolences to his family and friends. The political power, which remained silent for all our calls, wanted to make us get used to the practices that brought the medieval darkness back to life. We want to remind everyone that justice is necessary for everyone, let's take action as soon as possible. Our people's demand for justice and freedom will surely reach its goal. We want to reiterate the same call we made to the public and the government. Don't remain silent against these deaths! We have lost Mustafa and Helin. Let's be the voice of ÇHD members Ebru Timtik and Aytaç Ünsal, and Grup Yorum member İbrahim Gökçek!"
