Demostic violence increased by %27 during the quarantine 2020-04-12 13:41:01 DİYARBAKIR - According to the research of Socio-Polirical Field Research Center, domestic violence against women increased by 27.8 percent in the quarantine process. Socio-Political Field Research Center conducted a field study on whether women and children were exposed to violence in the quarantine process, which was implemented due to the coronavirus outbreak. The research was conducted in 28 provinces between April 3-8. According to results, domestic violence against women increased by 27.8 percent. In the study, where the  rate of the violence against children came out be almost 20 percent.     Also, the 69.4 percent of the interviewees told that the discussions and conflicts in the house has incrased during the quarantine process.   The fields study covers İstanbul, İzmir and Ankara metropoles as well as the other cities listed as: Diyarbakir, Antalya, Van, Batman, Adana, Mersin, Şırnak, Ağrı, Mardin, Kars, Urfa, Samsun, Muş, Aydın, Kocaeli, Yalova, Balıkesir, Muğla, Bursa, Dersim, Antep, Iğdır, Malatya and Hakkari.
