There are no healthcare workers in the dormitories reserved for quarantine! 2020-03-18 15:23:19 İSTANBUL - There are little to no measures taken in the dormitories where 3.614 people coming from abroad are quarantined. Citizens placed in the dormitories said there were no healthcare workers. Some 3,614 people were placed in dormitories affiliated with the Credit Dormitories Institution (KYK) coming from abroad for quarantine.  800 of those who were placed in dormitories in Istanbul and Kocaeli were transferred to Kanuni Sultan Süleyman Male Dormitory in Başakşehir district.   The police were placed in the entrances and exits of the student dormitories that were evacuated. Armoured vehicles and water cannons are waiting at the doors of the dormitories which are closed with police barricades.   'THERE ARE NO HEALTHCARE WORKERS'   Kanuni Sultan Süleyman Male Student Dormitory allocated for quarantine was cleaned by Başakşehir Municipality and the dormitory janitors. Citizens brought to the country by 13 buses will be kept under surveillance for 14 days. Citizens, including elderly and children and young people, said that no health measures were taken in the dormitory and that there were no health professionals.
