
Turkish Minister of Health announces first death from coronavirus

	NEWS CENTER - A total of 98 coronavirus infections have been confirmed in Turkey.

	&nbsp;

	Turkey’s Minister of Health Fahrettin Koca announced Tuesday night the first death from coronavirus pandemic in the country.

	&nbsp;

	According to the minister, the patient was an 89-year-old man who had contracted the virus from an employee who had a contact with China.

	&nbsp;

	Koca said that 51 more infections have been confirmed on Tuesday, bringing the total number to 98.

	&nbsp;

	The minister called on the people to act most carefully to prevent the spread of the pandemic.
