
Minister Koca confirms 18th coronavirus case

	NEWS CENTER - Number of new COVID-19 cases is 12 while total number is 18, says country’s health minister Fahrettin Koca.

	Health Minister Fahrettin Koca said on Twitter that 12 more people have been diagnosed with the virus, bringing the total number of cases in the country to 18.

	&nbsp;

	He said that among these, two people who had contact with the first case had tested positive for the virus. Koca said: "There are 3 cases who came from US and 7 from Europe. The situation is sad but every diagnosed case and isolation is safety for us all.

	&nbsp;

	Following Koca's announcement, social media users criticized the fact that Koca did not disclose the exact number of cases.&nbsp;

	Koca,making a statement after the criticism, said: ""The number of cases that have just been announced is 12. Two of these are from the circle of the first patient. The total number of coronavirus cases is 18"
