
HDP Co-chairs and executives detained in Mersin

	MERSİN - Many people, including HDP district co-chairs and administrators, were detained in house raids carried out in Mersin.

	As part of an investigation carried out by the Mersin Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, many houses were raided simultaneously early in the morning. During the raids, the police searched the houses and seized some digital materials. HDP Akdeniz District Co-Mayor Feyza Kaya, HDP Toroslar District Co-Chair Cabbar Karabeg, HDP Akdeniz Municipality Council member Nuray Aslan and HDP Mersin Provincial Organization administrators Nazan Dündar, Cihan Kökbalık and Ercan Alp were detained.

	The HDP executives whose grounds for detention could not be learned, &nbsp;were taken to the Provincial Security Directorate.

	&nbsp;

	It was stated that the number of detentions may increase.
