February 15 statement from DTK

	DİYARBAKIR - Drawing attention to the international conspiracy against PKK Leader Abdullah Öcalan, DTK stated, "It is not possible to think that the conspiracy has been wasted without Öcalan setting free."

	The Democratic Society Congress (DTK) declared a written statement on the 21st anniversary of the international conspiracy against PKK Leader Abdullah Öcalan. 

	 

	'PEOPLES' HOPE OF SALVATION'

	 

	In the statement highlighting the developments in Rojava, it was said that, “Those who plan and realize the international conspiracy on February 15th, experienced the decay and failure in Middle East during 20th century while the Kurdistan People's Freedom struggle led by Kurdish People's Leader Mr. Abdullah Öcalan, his freedom philosophy and common life ideal has become visible and applicable in the entire Middle East geography and has become the hope of salvation of all the peoples of the Middle East. With the Rojava revolution, the self-government resistances in Kobanê, Shengal and Northern Kurdistan and the heroic struggle of our people in the diaspora, our people took the leadership as a whole and destroyed the conspiracy."

	 

	'CONSPIRACY IS WASTED'

	 

	The statement, which pointed out that with the conspiracy it is intended to purge the Kurdish freedom struggle “In addition to the purge of Kurdish people's demands for freedom, the international conspiracy of February 15 also aimed to turn our peoples into enemies and to clash the people in the Middle East against each other, especially the Kurdish and Turkish people. The policies of international imperialistic and reactionary-colonial forces against our people continues, and all kinds of pressure, oppression, massacre and genocide practices are desired to be continued thorugh dirty alliances. The absolute isolation practice against the Kurdish People's Leader, Abdullah Öcalan, is the most strategic part of the liquidation policy of this dirty alliance developed against the Kurdistan Freedom Struggle in the person of Mr. Öcalan. All our people know that the international February 15 conspiracy has been wasted, but those who work and implement this conspiracy are still working on, trying to liquidate our struggle for freedom by constantly updating the conspiracy attempts."

	 

	‘SAVING THE ACHIEVEMENTS'

	 

	All the peoples of Kurdistan and Turkey should raise the struggle with the spirit of unity and solidarity by establishing a democratic alliance of the peoples. There is no other way to resist the aftershock of the February 15th international conspiracy and to protect and develop all our democratic achievements. We know and believe in very well that the February 15 international conspiracy, which was held in person of Mr. Öcalan, aimed against the Kurdish people and all democracy defenders. Therefore, it is not possible to imagine that the conspiracy is actually wasted without Mr. Öcalan setting free. Mr. Öcalan's freedom and his leadership in the circumstances of his freedom is synonymous with the freedom of the Kurdish people and democratic forces. This is our reason, which we can not give up and we can not postpone. This is the key to peace and solution. We call once again to raise the struggle against the international 15 February conspiracy in the name of peace, brotherhood, democracy, unity and common life to all our people, to all democracy forces, to all friends of our people, and to the international community ”.
