Names of those who died on October 10 are imprinted on trees 2020-02-09 16:53:38 ANKARA- Organised Struggle Group came together in Kuğulu Park and imprinted the names of 103 people who lost their lives in the Ankara Train Station massacre, which was committed by ISIS bomb attack on October 10, 2015. The October 10 Solidarity-Organised Struggle Group decorades the trees in in various parts of Ankara with hand-knitted names of the those who lost their lives in October 10 Ankara Massacre in order not to forget the massacre. Dressing the trees with their hand-knitted works in various neighborhoods and streets as well as the trees in front of the Ankara Train Station, the women came together in Kuğulu Park despite the heavy snow fall and dressed up two trees. The name of 103 people who lost their lives in the massacre are printed on the trees via the hand-knits.   Police came after the decoration activity and asked the women if they had permission for this act. Women responded that there is no need for a permission for an activity held in the public space and this is a constitutional right.
