
Search conducted in Eskişehir Prison with Special Operations Teams

	ANKARA - It was stated that special operations police officers participated in the searches made in the wards of the prisons in Eskişehir Type H Closed Prison.

	&nbsp;

	Prisoners being held in Eskişehir Type H Closed Prison conveyed the violations of rights they experience via their relatives. The prisoners said they can neither send nor recieve any letters with the instructions of the prison administration.&nbsp;

	&nbsp;

	The prisoners also pointed out that arbitrary searches are carried out in their wards and that the searches are conducted by Special Operations officers and added that even though they pay for their newspapers, the newspapers are not being given to them.

	&nbsp;

	The prisoners complained that non of the petitions they send to the prison administration or justice department were responded. The prisoners called on to the humans' rights defenders and institutions to act regarding the violations of rights they suffer.
