
Police raided home of a young man already in custody to detain him

	DİYARBAKIR – Diyarbakır Security Directorate police officers raided the house of Mervan Dündar who is already under custody and asked the people living in the building about his whereabouts.

	A young man called Mervan Dündar who was detained in a check point on the road yesterday in Şırnak, İdil within the scope of an investigation started in Hakkari, was taken to Hakkari Security Directorate. The police raided his house in Kayapınar although he was under police custody at the time.&nbsp;

	&nbsp;

	The police blockading the vicinity of the building, broke down the building door and the door of Dündar's empty apartment and searched the place. Police also asked the people living in the building where he was and when janitor said he didn't know, they battered him.&nbsp;

	&nbsp;

	Dundar's statement who is being held in the Provincial Police Department in Hakkari is expected to be taken tomorrow.
