A committee visited the action tent on behalf of Democratic Syrian Assembly and read the letter they wrote in front of the UN building.   "Mr. UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres;   Our city is known for its polychromy. Our city has been targeted by the Turkish state and their gangs. They targeted civillians in these attacks. The fact that the convoy heading to Serêkaniyê was targeted, was proved to be true in the international arena. The Turkish state and its gangs used banned weapons known as white phosphorus in the attacks. Since 2014, we have been living in peace and security under the auspices of the Autonomous Administration of Northern and Eastern Syria. In 2013, the city of Cebhet El-Nusra gangs attacked our people responded to these attacks. After 5 years of peace and security, the Turkish state and its gangs began to attack us. We have to live outside our city right now. Thousands of people, including women, children and the elderly, are left homeless. When you consider the upcoming winter, you will understand better what kind of a picture we face.   Mr. Secretary General; We were forced to leave our house because of the bombings of the Turkish state and now our houses have been plundered. More than 33,500 people were displaced and their property was looted by gangs in front of the Turkish state. On this basis, we reject the brutal attacks on our land and want to return to our historic city. The Turkish state wants to bring unfamiliar people to our homes. Turkey wants to destroy our identity by an ethnic cleansing, which is against international law. Therefore, we reject these projects of the Turkish state. We call on all international institutions to prevent these dangerous projects of the Turkish state. We want to go home. We also ask you to guarantee our return home. We do not trust the Turkish state and its gangs. We don't want our demography to be changed by force. That's why we are calling on to you all. You have a responsibility to protect the moral basis of this world. As is known, QSD freed Girê Spî from ISIS gangs as a result of great difficulties. The liberation of our region was a big deal.Peace and security was provided for us. We have been living with all our diversity here for ages. We have our own institutions. Civil services were brought to the civillians here by civil organizations. These were the important gains that were achieved after years of struggling.   On October 9, the invading Turkish state began to attack us for no reason. As Girê Spî Civil Assembly, we have been elected by our people. We do not accept the presence of Turkish state and ISIS gangs in our lands. We call on the UN and all institutions to remove the Turkish state and gangs from our lands. As the peoples of North and East Syria, we will continue to resist the invaders. Recep Tayyip Erdoğan is the murderer of our children. As the people of Serêkaniyê and Girê Spî, we have been in action for 8 days in front of the UN building in Qamişlo. We will continue this action until we get an answer from you. ”
