AKP President Tayyip Erdoğan filed a criminal complaint against Etienne Gernelle, Editor-in-Chief of France's Le Point magazine and  writer Romain Gubert. Erdoğan's lawyer Hüseyin Aydın filed an 11-page criminal complaint with the Ankara Chief Public Prosecutor's Office on behalf of his client Erdoğan accusing the two of committing the crime of 'Insulting the president'.   Etienne Gernelle, Editor-in-Chief of France's Le Point Magazine, explained why they used the photo of Erdoğan on the cover and named it “Genocider”. Gernelle said: "Erdogan is not only a dictator, he is also an annihilate and we are trying to explain this in Le Point magazine this week. Because it is necessary to tell the truth, because, in this regard, a lot of euphemisms are used, the Turkish state says that they are carrying out a military operation against Syria We say tension, conflict, attack, but they are not exactly what's happening.
