
Syrian UN Representative Jafari: Turkish aggression leads to death and emigration

	NEWS CENTER - Speaking at the UNSC, Syria's Permanent Representative Bashar Jaafari, stating that the justification Turkey uses is a lie, said: "Turkey 's offense caused the occupation of Syria, deaths displacements of hundreds of civillians."

	Syria's Permanent Representative Bashar Jaafari, reacted to the attacks of Turkey in a speech he made at the Security Council yesterday. Jaafari stated that he strongly condemns the Turkish aggression and rejects attempts by the Turkish regime to justify their actions on the pretext of self-defense or the fight against terrorism."

	Stating that Turkey is violating the international law, the UN Convention, and UN decisions, Jaaferi said: "Turkey 's offense caused the occupation of Syria, deaths displacements of hundreds of civillians."

	Speaking at the United Nations Security Council (UNSC), US Permanent Representative Michael Barkin said: "In the case of the confirmation of the claims that Turkey's paramilitary forces targets civillians, this can be evaluated as war crimes."
