
Pentagon: We will reinforce East Syria for oil deposits

	WASHINGTON - The US Department of Defense announced that they would make military reinforcements in the region to protect oil reserves in the East of Syria.

	"One of the most important gains of the US and its partners against ISIS was the oil deposits in the eastern part of Syria, where ISIS made a significant income. To prevent these oil deposits from getting into the hands of ISIS or other destabilizing actors, as the US we will arbitrate our position in northeastern Syria with additional military elements, in coordination with our DSG partners.

	During the day, US media announced that the Pentagon would dispatch 30 tanks and military personnel to the oil fields in Deyr ez Zor.
