	ISTANBUL - Osman Yasin, the former editor of Yeni Yasam Newspaper, was sentenced to one year and three months in prison. Announcement of the verdict was deferred.&nbsp;

	The hearing of the case where Yeni Yaşam Newspaper former editor in chief is being accused of 'propaganda' was held at İstanbul 28th High Criminal Court.&nbsp;

	&nbsp;

	Yasin's attorney Sercan Korkmaz who stated that they did not accept the opinion, said 'My client reported a protest against an administrative practice. There are precedent decisions about the discourse 'Mr. Öcalan' and demanded his acquittal.&nbsp;

	&nbsp;

	The court sentenced Akın to 1 year and 3 months. Announcement of the verdict was deferred.
