Peace Mothers: What they call a 'Peace Spring' is a river of blood 2019-10-18 11:11:06   ADANA - Adana Peace Mothers, reacting to Turkey's attack against North and East Syria, stated that they want peace, not war. Peace Mother Cevahir Temel said 'What they call a 'Peace Spring' is a river of blood', while Peace Mother Lafife Aydın stressed that there is no right side of Turkey's attack.   Aydın, stating that the civillians were killed in the attack and no one has the right to take another's life, reiterated that the Kurdish community have risen up again and demanded democracy. Aydın vowing that they will support the struggle of the people of Rojava, said: "We are with them even if there is only a drop of blood left in our veins. Stop this war. Don't let the children and the women die. They say we are brothers and sisters. Then they do murdering women and children. Are the Turks and Kurds brothers and sisters? What kind of a brotherhood is that? End this war!"   Peace Mother Cevahir Temel, stating that Turkey attacked North and East Syria solely because of their hostility against the Kurds, also reacted to the discourse of Tayyip Erdoğan, who says 'Our Kurdish borthers' time and time again, and asked 'Which brotherhood is that?'. Temel pointing out the oppression on HDP, said: "Mothers can not shout out. Mothers are crying in their homes. Mothers are crying blood. All of those boys, soldiers, police, guerillas are our sons. We don't want blood. Temel calling on to the government to stop the war and said: "You can't make peace with what's inside you, how can you make peace with a border? Our call to all of the states is for them to stop this war. What they call a 'Peace Spring' is a river of blood."
