
Trustees appointed to Nusaybin and Yüksekova Municipalities

	NEWS CENTER - Trustees was appointed to Nusaybin and Yüksekova Municipalities following the arrests of the elected mayors.

	&nbsp;

	HDP Nusaybin Municipality Co-Mayors Semire Nergiz and Ferhat Kut who were taken under custody on October 15 during house raids, was arrested by the court with the accusation of 'being a member of an illegal organization' yesterday. Their arrests were based on their participation in the isolation campaigns and anonymous witness statements.

	&nbsp;

	Following the arrest of the Co-mayors, Nusaybin District Governor Mehmet Balikcilar was appointed as trustee today.

	&nbsp;

	&nbsp;

	Yüksekova Municipality Co-Mayors İrfan Sarı and Remziye Yaşar was also taken into custody during the home raids on October 15, and was arrested with the same accusation.&nbsp;

	&nbsp;

	District Governer Osman Doğramacı was appointed as a trustee to the Yüksekova Municipality.
