Call for 'crisis desk' to the people of Nusaybin 2019-10-14 09:42:57 MARDÄ°N - Mardin's Nusaybin Municipality established a 'Crisis desk' in order to identify and record the problems faced by the people of the city resulting from the war against North and East Syria. Co-Mayor Semire Nergiz asked the citizens affected by the conflicts to contact them. Nergiz said that the maintenance workshop of the municipality was transformed into a 'crisis desk' and that they are now assisting citizens through two telephone lines. Nergiz also stated that the surrounding districts are also offering their support to them, said: "Citizens must remain at the lower floor of their homes. We don't know what they are targeting and we don't know where they will fire from. Unfortunately we have lost a lot of lives.  This is where words fail. Our people who want to go to other districts can reach us over the phone. We would like to state that we are with them until the end. We are a democrat municipality, their pain is our pain. We will continue to be here and support our people until a single people from Nusaybin is here."
