Syria statement from Egypt, Greece and Cyprus 2019-10-09 10:15:34 HABER MERKEZİ - Egypt, Greece and Cyprus leaders have voiced their concerns about Turkey's operation plans to North East Syria. Mısır President Abdulfettah el Sisi, Cyprus President Nikos Anastasiadis and Greece President Kiriakos Miçotakis have issued a joint statement after the triple summit in Egyptian capital Cairo. Turkey's planned operation to North East Syria was included in their statement.   The statement made by the Egyptian Presidential Office included the following statements:   "All parties voiced their deep concerns regarding Turkey's illegal military operation to North East Syria and confirmed the need to safeguard the territorial integrity. All parties also condemned the efforts of Turkey to change the current demographic situation or violating the territorial integrity."
