HDP launch campaign to promote Kurdish language

	DİYARBAKIR - The Peoples' Democratic Party (HDP) launched a campaign to improve Kurdish language and remove obstacles to its learning. In this context, Kurdish lessons will be given at the Democracy Vigils.

	The HDP launched a mother tongue campaign and to this end it will turn the Democracy Vigils organised to reclaim the seized municipalities into  for the recapture of the usurped municipalities into spaces where to learn Kurdish.

	 

	The campaign will also support the Kurdish Language Platform, composed of the Democratic Society Congress (DTK) Language Commission, the Party of Democratic Regions (DBP) and Kurdish parties.

	 

	Within the scope of the Kurdish language campaign, the HDP will symbolically give Kurdish lessons at the Democracy Vigils.

	 

	Kurdish Language Platform Spokesperson Şerefhan Cizîrî stated that Kurdish language should be used in all areas of life.

	 

	Cizîrî underlined the necessity of carrying out work in every field in order to use and develop Kurdish as a propaganda language.

	 

	"We should spread the Kurdish language everywhere. - said Cizîrî - That doesn't mean we're against other languages. All languages ??should be spoken, but we are Kurdish and should use our right to speak Kurdish."
