
Voting process started in renewed Istanbul elections

	İSTANBUL - The voting process have started at 08.00 for the renewed June 23 elections for İstanbul Metropolitan Municipality.

	&nbsp;

	Following the March 31 Local Administrations General Elections, the Supreme Election Board (YSK) decided to cancel the decision on 6 May and the people of İstanbul went to the polls.

	&nbsp;

	In today's election, Istanbul will elect the Metropolitan Mayor who will serve for 5 years. AKP candidate Binali Yildirim, CHP candidate Ekrem Imamoglu, Saadet Party candidate Necdet Gokcinar and Vatan Party candidate Mustafa Ilker Yucel are competing.

	The voting process will end at 17.00 today.
