An investigation was launched against 11 citizens who blocked the traffic in İnönü Street in Adana for 58 seconds during the red light to draw attention to the hunger strikes. The 11 people who carried our the action lead by People's Democratic Party (HDP) Adana Provincial Youth Assembly on May 3, was called into Adana Provincial Security Directorate for their depositions.   The Prosecutor's Office claimed that the 11 people had Democratic Society Congress (DTK) Co-chair Leyla Güven's photo and a banner in their hands, saying "Leyla Güven is right, isolation should be removed," and they had masks on their faces and they violated "2911 Opposition to Meetings and Demonstration Marches". Prosecutor's office ignored the fact that they blocked the traffic during the red light and asked the participants to give their statements.   ’PURPOSE WAS TO MOLD PUBLIC OPINION‘   Those who deposed at the police station stated that their purpose was to mold public opinion and not to disturb the peace or block the traffic in any way and said: "Our purpose was to support Leyla Güven who was on hunger strike. We stood there for less than a minute during the red light. We were trying to mold punlic opinion. We don't accept the charges."
