Prisoners who were not referred to hospital, vommitting blood 2019-06-01 12:18:04   BALIKESİR - According to the information recieved, prisoners in Bandırma No 1 Type T Prison who have been in hunger strike for a long time, are still not been referred to hospital and that they are vomitting blood.   While the hunger strkes and the deaths fasts have been called off with the message of PKK Leader Abdullah Öcalan, many prisoners in different prisons have yet to be taken to the hospital for treatment. One of these prisons is Bandırma No 1 Type T Prison. Prisoners in Bandırma Prison have still not been taken to hospital since they ended their hunger strike on May 26.     Ömer Dorudemir who is a prisoner in this prison for 3 years and who was on hunger strike for 97 days, was shot by  the soldiars in a peaceful protest to make the military opertions in Lice to be stopped, when he was younger than 18 years old. Dorudemir who participated in the hunger strikes even though he is listed as a sick prisoner because of the bullet stll launced in his spine, told about the violations of rights in the prison to his family on the phone.     Firstly, Dorudemir told his family that the prisoners, especially those who were on hunger strike, were exhilareted about the isolation being broke.     Dorudemir who stated that their action have leaded to success, said the hunger strikers who ended their action have still not been brought to hospital. Dorudemir,stating that there are prisoners who had been on hunger strike for 140 days that still are not being brought to hospital for treatment, said there are people vomitting blood. Dorudemir said the attorneys and related foudations must take action for the prisoners to be brought to hospitals for treatment immediately.
