Mothers who stated that they won't pay the fines, said: "No matter what they do, they can not take that money from us." According to the Article 32 of the Law No. 5326 of the District Police Department of Akdeniz Branch, citizens who attended the demonstrations trying to attract attention to the hunger strikes were fined at least 3 times 320 TL each. Mothers of the prisoners who reacted to the fines, said they will not may those fines.   "WE WILL NOT PAY"   Avniye Sungur whose son Mervan Sundur who had been on hunger strike in Tarsus Type T Closed Prison, said she was there for his son and emphasized the rightfullness of their actions. Sungur who stated that they do not accept those fines, said: "They say the press relases, the letters we send the to Ministry of Justice and the sit in's were the reason of those fines. We told them that we would get on the streets for our daughters and sons no matter what. Because our children were on hunger strike. We told them that we would not go back as long as our children are on hunger strike. Now we told them that we will not pay these fines. If we do, that would legitimize their violence."
