Mothers of the prisoners: Remove the isolation now 2019-05-08 16:49:14 DİYARBAKIR - Relatives of the prisoners who was blockaded by the police in Bağlar ,but marched anyway until the TUAY-DER building, demanded the isolation to be removed in order for the hunger strikes to end. Relatives of the hunger strikers walked with slogans “Biji berxwedana zindanan" and 'Don't hit the mothers'.   A statement was made after the march in front of the TUAY-DER  building.  People's Democratic Party (HDP) Deputies Saliha Aydeniz, Remziye Tosun, and Hişyar Özsoy and Free WOmen's Movement (TJA) activist Ayşe Gökhan attended the event. A prisoner mother Nezahat Teke, said: "They have to think about what is going on if mothers are sitting here for hours in the heat in Ramadan. WHat do these mothers want? Mothers are being torn inside. We don't want t sit her on the ground either. But how can a mother be at ease while her children are in prison hungry?"   'REMOVE THE ISOLATION'   Teke who stated that the letter PKK Leader Abdullah Öcalan sent meant a lot to them, said:"We did not leave the room where the TV is for a second with hope.I am calling on to the authorities to help end the hunger strikes and not to hit mothers again. End the isolation!"   The demonstration ended with slogans.
