Mızraklı: Istanbul decision is a blow to the will of the society 2019-05-08 11:19:14   DİYARBAKIR - Diyarbakır Co-Mayor Selçuk Mızraklı who stated that the cancellation of the 31 March İstanbul elections is overshadowing the legitmacy of the elections, said: "Istanbul decision is a blow to the will of the society."     Diyarbakır Co-mayor Selçuk Mızraklı, evaluated the cancellation decision of Supreme Board of Elections (YSK) for the İstanbul elections. Mızraklı who stated that moving the voter registrations of the police and the soldiars from the west to the east overshadowed the will of the people and the March 31 Elections. Mızraklı added that the fact that the mandates of the elected officials who were discharged with law decrees made the elections more questionable.     'THE DECISION IS A BLOW TO THE WILL OF THE PEOPLE'   Mızraklı, pointing out the decisions of the YSK during the election period, said: "The decision of the YSK that is responsible for the security and the fairness of the elections, is a blow to the will of the people. Our definitions of Turkey showed themselves to be true with these decisions. There will always be questions about all the elections to be done from this day forward.    Mızraklı who stated that the will of the peoples were put in pledge after the June 7 Elections, said: "There already was suspicion in people about the referendum results, as they were at par. The decision of YSK showed that those suspicions was right. Today, the society is on the brink of an important decision in Turkey. The decision of YSK about istanbul, is a mirror of the future."   Mızraklı who underlined that the electors must decide towards securing democracy, said: "Everyone who believes in democracy must sit and think about it to look at the future with hope."
