Ersin Sömer: We will succeed if you raise your voices 2019-05-06 11:55:06 ADANA - Ersin Sömer who has been on hunger strike for 103 days in Sincan Prison, said: "We will succeed if you raise your voices. Stand behind us". Muhbet Sömer, Ersin Sömer's mother said no matter what the price is, they will struggle with their children for their demands to be met. Sömer who was arrested in 2011, was sentenced to 12 years with the accusation of 'being a member of an illegal organization'. His only demand is the removal of isolation.   Sömer who spoke to his mother on the phone at May 4, said: " We are doing ok. Our morale is high. You were on hunger strike for 3 days for us, that fortified us. You showed support. That gives us strength. Our hunger strike will continue until our demand is met. Support us and we will be stronger. We will succeed. Our only demand is the removal of isolation."   Mother Sömer who stated that she claims her son's action, said his son lost 25 kilos. Mother Sömer who stated that the prisoners are deteriorating, said: "Funerals might come out of the prisons any minute now. We support our children. As mothers, we don't want our children to die. The government should meet their demands. No matter what the price is, we will continue struggling with our children."
