Police intervention against the hunger striker' families in Gebze: 4 people under custody

	İSTANBUL - The pThe families have been holding a vigil in front of the Gebze Type M Prison since April 9 to amplify the voice of prisoners who are on hunger strikes against the isolation imposed upon PKK Leader Abdullah Öcalan.

	The prisoners’ relatives have been systemically attacked every day. This Thursday’s protest was no exception as the police battered and detained 4 people.

	 

	 

	Lawyers who went to the prison to support the families were also subjected to police brutality.
