Hunger striker prisoner Ali Ulutaş :Government should respect their own laws 2019-05-02 10:53:51 URFA- Ali Ulutaş who has been on hunger strike in Urfa Type T Prison since March 1, said: "We want the government to obey their own laws. The resistance will continue unless they do. Everyone beliveing in the human's rights should rise up, otherwise silence will bring death."     Ali Ulutaş who has been on hunger strike in Urfa Type T Prison since March 1 demanding the termination of the isolation of the PKK Leader Abdullah Öcalan, spoke to his family on the phone and assessed the hunger strikes. Ulutaş who served the 2 years of his 6 years and 3 months of the sentence he has been given with the accusation of being a member of an illegal organization, stated that they are determined to continue until their demands are met.       Ulutaş said: "Some of our friends are deteroiorating. The liquids and vitamins given by the prison administration is insufficiant. That is a problem, but our morale is high. We will continue our resistance until the isolation is over.Our people outside should be our voices."      Ulutaş calling on to the international humans' rights associations and to the democracy powers in Turkey, said: "The humans' righst associations and democracy powers in Turkey should act immediately. Our peoples in Turkey should give us a hand. Our friends are wasting away day by day.Isolation is a crime against humanity.It can not be accepted.We just want the law on prisoners and convicts that applies to all prisoners, to be applied for our leader as well. The cruelty and oppression will continue until they respect their own laws. Everyone who cares about humans' rights should make some noise before more funerals come out of the  prisons."
