'This unlawful decision is the continuation of the punishment of the people discharged with a law decree' 2019-04-27 10:15:32 DİYARBAKIR- Labourers that were discharged with a law decree (KHK)  who reacts to the 'KHK decision' of the YSK and to the demand of the AKP that states their votes should not be considered valid, stating that the decision is unlawful and said: "This unlawful decision is the continuation of the punishment of the people discharged with a law decree" Supreme Board of Elections (YSK) decided not to mandate the nominees that won the election but previously discharged with a law decree, even they accepted their nomination in the first place. YSK who decided to give the mandates of the district and provincial mayors to the second coming in the elections, rejected the objection of the Justice and Development Party (AKP) demanding the mandates should not be given to those who were discharged with a law decree.   Ali Rıza Aydeniz and Hülhan Tekin who were discharged with a law decree evaluated these applications.      Teacher Ali Rıza Aydeniz, who got discharged with a law decree in 2016, stating that this is an arbitrary treatment, said their being discharged without a court process is a purge of the opponents from the civil service. Aydeniz who stated that there is no legal basis to deprive the people who got discharged with a law decree from the right to vote and stand for election, said the fact that their mandates not being given is unlawful.     Gülhan Tekin Financial Secretary of the Health and Social Workers Union (SES) Diyarbakır Branch who was discharged from Lice State Hospital, said: "What we are going through is fascism without a doubt. The government that could not win the elections, is dictating their demands. We can not accept that. We are paying taxes for health, education, we are paying taxes in everything we buy but we can not vote and stand for election? This unlawful decision is the continuation of the punishment of the people discharged with a law decree. They are telling us that they don't recognize us as citizens. They tell us that we are not citizens while they expect us to pay taxes at the same time."
