Relatives of the hunger striker prisoners sends letter to the Ministry of Justice 2019-04-26 14:47:41 MERSİN - The relatives of the hunger strikers demanding the termination of the isolation in İmralı, have sent a letter to the Ministry of Justice drawing attention to the hunger strikers.   Association for Solidarity with Prisoners and Convicts (TUAY-DER) has issued a press statement to draw attention to the situation of detainees who have been carrying out an indefinite non-rotating hunger strike. Many people, non governmental organizations and political party representatives attended the press statement Peoples' Democratic Party (HDP) Mediterranean Branch have held.      Ali Bilen who stated that an aggravated isolation is imposed on Öcalan for years, said this policy of the government destroyed the peace and harmony in the country.Bilen who stated that the hunger strike Democratic Soceity Congress (DTK) Co-char Leyla Güven started and approximately 5 thousand political prisoner joined have left behind 5 months, said: "The hunger striker prisoners are deteroirating.If there is no urgent solution, then there will be grave situations that can cause unsafe social destruction. We can understand from a country's prisons policies whether a country is just or not. On this basis, the justice minister must fulfill the requirements of the institution in which he is carrying out his current work. It should play a historical role in order to remove the isolation and prevent the coffins from coming out of prisons.   ’THE LETTER IS SENT‘   Following the announcement, the relatives of the detainees and the managers of Çukurova TUAYDER sent letters to the Central Post office explaining the situation of the prisoners who are on hunger strike to the Ministry of Justice.
