Binici said: "The hunger strikers are past 90 days now in Tarsus Prison. We observed that they are all detoriorating. The weight loss of the prisoners is around 11-20 kilos. Some are doing so bad that we could not see them because they could not make it to the visitation room. The ones joined the hunger strike on January 5 is worse. Even the fluid intake is a problem for them, they drink water with the help of their friends. SOme can not swallow, therefore can not consume the vitamins. Especially Suat Okur and Zinnet Sağlam... We can face heart attacks, even deaths in the upcoming days."
