" The hunger strike initiated by Democratic Society Congress (DTK) Co-chair People's Democratic Party (HDP) Hakkari Deputy Leyla Güven continues spreading to all prisons.Serhat Erbey (21) who joined the hunger strike action on March 1, is in prison for 3 years and being kept at Denizli  Type T Closed Prison with a sentence of 6 years.   Serhat Erbey who called her grand mother on April 12, called on to the society to be their voices and support their action. Grandmother Erbey who stated that her grandson is very determined to resist until the isolation is removed, said his 2 sons are on hunger strike as well. His som Maşallah Erbey is on hunger strike since January 5 in Bünyan Prison and his other son Mehmet Erbey is on hunger strike since December 16 in Düzce Type T Prison.   Grandmother Erbey stated that Serhat Erbey told him: "Doctors do not make their regular checks with us.We can not get the necessary vitamins. Their approach towards us is hostile. They want to leave us to death. We will not give up our hunger strike until the isolation is removed."   Mother Erbey added, "All of these young people put their lives on the line to remove this isolation. Is it so hard to remove it? The mothers of the prisoners tried to see the Ministry of Justice but they could not get an appointment.All they demand is for Öcalan to be able to see his family and his attorneys. Where is the CPT? Where is the ECHR? Don't they hear the voice of the mothers?"
