'We'll live in a better world if we help Leyla to be heard' 2019-03-09 15:44:49   ANKARA- SES Co-chair Gönül Erden who drew attention to the fact that isolation is limiting people and taking their rights to health from them said: "We have to help Leyla be heard, and only then we can libe in a better world."   The hunger strike of Democratic Society Congress (DTK) Co-chair and People's Democratic Paarty (HDP) Hakkari Deputy Leyla Güven with the demand of the termination of the isolation on PKK Leader Abdullah Öcalan is on its 122nd day. All PKK Pjak prisoners from all prisons joined the hunger strike of the previous hunger strike continued by 300 prisoners.  Health and Social Workers Workers Union (SES) Co-chair Gönül Erden made evaluations on hunger strikes.     'GÜVEN BEING ALIVE MEANS DEMOCRACY AND PEACE'   Erden, draeing attention to the fact that the at this point, the condition of Güven is very risky, said: "Today, Güven being alive is that we all can live together. We say Let Leyla Live to add our voices to her, to be her voice. Güven being alive means democracy,peace, a life together. We should help her be heard and we aill all live in a better world with Leyla Güven."     Erden who said their union have reached information that hunger strikers are being put in solitary confinement and given less salt, lemon and vitamin B then they should be given, said: "These practices are defined as torture. A suitable environment must be established for the hunger strikers. Vitamin b1 is vital. It prolongs the time they have and it is vital for the hunger strikers to help them live and avoid permanent issues in the future. Because hunger strike is not an act of suicide. It is sacrificing your body to express yourself at the last point."
