
Chief Prosecutor of the Supreme Court Akarca: Our investigation on HDP continues

	ANKARA - Speaking at a press conference on the 2018 activities of the Supreme Court and 2019 targets, the Chief Public Prosecutor Mehmet Akarca said that the investigation on HDP continues after the application of the Homeland Party (VP) which is chaired by Doğu Perinçek.

	Speaking at a press conference on the activities of the Supreme Court in 2018, judicial reform efforts and 2019 targets, the Chief Public Prosecutor at the Supreme Court of Appeals, Mehmet Akarca said that an investigation against the Peoples' Democratic Party was under way.

	Akarca, speaking at a meeting attended by the President of the Supreme Court of Appeals İsmail Cirit and &nbsp;President of the General Assembly of Punishment Abdulhalik Yıldız,said: "Our inquisition continues. There is no investigation yet. We are in favor of democratic politics."

	&nbsp;

	Homeland Party chaired by Doğu Perinçek, recently asked the Supreme Court to close down the HDP.
