Platform spokesperson Cizîrî said the basis of their activities will be establishing linguistic consciousness.   Cizîrî who reminded that the most natural right of a Kurdish citizen is to be educated in their mother tongue, said: "What is more important than Kurdish being thought as the educational language builds up the  cultural identity is a person being able to use their mother tongue as the educational language. Language is a persons country, identity, freedom of thought and skill. If you prohibit a person's mother tongue, you prevent them from thinking, creating, developing, liberating themselves. For this reason, the state is trying to prohibit the development of the Kurdish language, to subjugate and destroy them as second class people.   Altun who reminded that the assimilation policies and bans on Kurdish Language continues, said: "No one shall say that Kurdish is not prohibited. Look they even have TV's in Kurdish. The person who can say these things is a chauvanistic, unaware of the world around them, deprived of conscience. The fact is, Kurdish was prohibited by tyranny and force from time to time without the need of laws to ban the language. There are people killed in this country for speaking Kurdish. No one shall say Kurdish is not prohibited."
