Confession from the witness of the assault  on the funeral of Tuğluk: I heard them saying 'You can't bury her here'

	ANKARA- İsa Kaya who witnessed the attack on HDP former Vice-co chair Aysel Tuğluk's mother Hatun Tuğluk's funeral, said he heard the crowd saying 'You cannot bury this body here' and the crowd disbanded after the funeral.

	The 9th hearing of the case where the assialants of former HDP Vice-co-chair Aysel Tuğluk's mother Hatun Tuğluk's funeral was held in Gölbaşı Penal Court of First Instance today. The 19 assailants and their attorneys attended the funeral.

	 

	Mezopotamya Agency reporter Selman Güzelyüz who was there as a journalist testified as a witness. Güzelyüz said: "There was a white jeep at the cemetary when we got there. I thought they were there to help, or attend the funeral. There were 4-5 people in it. They said 'We will not let you bury her here, you can not bury Armenians here'. The deputies of HDP who came to attend the funeral was not able to calm down the crowd. Even though they were getting more and more crowded, the security forces did not show up."

	 

	'THE SECURITY FORCES DID NOT INTERVENE'

	 

	Güleryüz said: "After some time the security forces showed up but did not intervene. There were armed people in the crowd. The security forces insulted the people who came for the funeral."

	 

	Güleryüz identified some of the assailants in the court room.

	 

	After witness statements, the court board said the CD where the assault images are recorded broke and they wanted the police to handle them the videos if they have them.

	 

	The hearing was postponed to May 5.
