The evidence lead to the prosecution of 19 people is no where to be found

	İSTANBUL- The tapes police and the prosecutor claimed to be the  evidence in the case 19 people are being prosecuted including journalist Haydar Ergül, was nowhere to be found.

	 

	19 people including Democratic Districts Party (DBP) and People's Democratic Party (HDP) members and executives and journalist Haydar Ergül who were taken under custody during a home raid on July 28, 2017 have been jailed pending trial and their next hearing will be held in İstanbul 22nd Criminal Court on April 5. The evidence they were charged with being a member of an illegal organization is nowhere to be found.

	 

	The only evidence in the case is the audio surveillance of HDP Bağcılar District Organization building.However, although the audio recordings are subject to accusation, the audio record is not included in the evidence bag that is claimed to be recorded in a CD. While there is no knowledge whether the CD including the audio recording actually was there in the first place,  a disciplinary investigation will be initiated if the interim decisions were under performed by the concerned clerk.
