	İZMİR- Women of İzmir who support the hunger strike of DTK Co-chair Lelya Güven said 'Resistance makes us stronger'

	 

	 

	The hunger strike Democratic Society Congress (DTK) Co-chair and People's Democratic Party (HDP) Hakkari Deputy Leyla Güven have started protesting the isolation on PKK Leader Abdullah Öcalan in Dİyarbakır Type E Closed prison is in its 73rd day.

	 

	 

	The hunger strike of at least 239 prisoners supporting Leyla Güven is continuing. Women of İzmir stated that the demands of Leyla Güven and the other prisoners must immediately be met.

	 

	 

	Nihal Akyıldız said the termination of the isolation is the demand of all peoples.Akyıldız who stated that anyone objecting isolation are imposed to the oppression of the government, said: "As a result of the resistance Mr. Öcalan was able to see his brother. It was a one time thing, the isolation continues.The demands are not met yet.Sabahat Tuncel and Selma Irmak have started an indefinite non-rotating hunger strike which expands the resistance. We are certain that as a result of this resistance the isolation will be terminated and a door will open to peace.The government must turn their face towards the resistance to prevent the situation from getting more dire.

	 

	 

	Abide Bayram who stated that the demands can not be ignored, said: " The isolation is not limited with the prisons. Isolation grows in all walks of life.Isolation is a violation of human rights. Leyla Güven's resistance makes all of us stronger.The isolation must be terminated. Güven must restore her health."
