The hunger strike initiated by Democratic Society Congress Co-chair and People's Democratic Party Hakkari Deputy Leyla Güven is continuing with 226 other prisoners.    HDP Mardin Deputy Ebru Günay who made a short meeting with Mehmet Öcalan made assessments regarding the isolation and the hunger strikes.   Günay who evaluated the isolation on Abdullah Öcalan as 'the longest and most aggravated isolation in the world', said the isolation have left 20 years behind.   Günay who stated that the isolation is practiced upon Turkey and Middle East in the person of Öcalan, said the only way to terminate the isolation is resistance.   Günay who stated that she was a prisoner in Diyarbakır Prison during the hunger strikes in 2012, emphasized the importance of the support to the hunger strikers and said: " Back then, the people were gathering at a certain time in the afternoon and we heard their voices. That used to motivate us. We thought that our resistance was being reciprocated. In any case, when the resistance power  in the inside and the outside meets, that is when we can change some things. They will take a step back when we resist together. Today, there is a call for resistance in the prisons, when this call is met on the outside, they will take a step  back."
