'Honorary Award' from Women's Foundation to Leyla Güven 2019-01-11 17:11:21   DİYARBAKIR - The International Women's Foundation has announced that they will give the "Honorary Award" to the DTK Co-CHair and Hakkari Deputy Leyla Güven, who have been on hunger strike for 65 days. Democratic Society Congress (DTK) Co-chair and People's Democratic Party (HDP) Hakkari Deputy Leyla Güven is in the 65th day of the hunger strike she started to protest the isolation on PKK Leader Abdullah Öcalan. The International Women's Foundation who organizes events for the Kurdish politicians Sakine Cansýz, Fidan Doðan and Leyla Þaylemez who was killed in Paris, capitol city of France on January 9,2013 every year in Rotterdam, announced that they will give the honorary award to Leyla Güven who has been in a hunger strike for 65 days now. The Foundation who will have bee organize “Se Jinen Azad” event for the fifth time this year on January 19, in Germany, Frankfurt, decided that 3 awards will be given under the titles 'Honour, Labour and Success'. The Honour Award will be given to Leyla Güven while the Labour Award will be given to Yade in Köln and Success Award to Gineology Committee.
