The claim that the prisoners were poisoned after the hunger strike 2019-01-10 13:00:45   MERSİN- It has been claimed that 18 prisoners who have finished their 10 day hunger strike in Tarsus No 3 Type T Closed Prison was poisoned by the food given to them. Çukurova TUAYDER Co-chair Ebedin Aktaş stated that the prisoners are not being treated and their condition is getting worse.   Çukurova Assistance and Solidarity Association with the Families of the Prisoners and Convicted (TUAYDER) Co-chair Ebedin Aktaş, said: " 18 of the 19 prisoners that the meal served was poisioned because of the food.The prisoners who have been poisioned were examined at the infirmary at the prison. The problems they had are still continuing. This is  kind of  systematic torture. The attorneys who went to the prison to see the prisoners have confirmed the information. The prison administration is in a mood of taking revenge on the prisoners who supported the hunger strike. 2 of the prisoners who are poisioned is in critical condition. We will not let this go."   The prison administration we called upon recieving the information denied the allegations.
