Insistance of the court and the negligence of the prison admininstration killed Akbaba! 2018-12-31 12:05:14   MARDİN- Seyithan Baday, attorney of İbrahim Akbaba who had a heart attack and died during his hearing which he attended via video conference, said they will make a denunciation about the prison administration who did not refer his client to a hospital for a report even though there was a court order.   70 year old sick prisoner İbrahim Akbaba who was a prisoner in Edirne Type F Closed Prison, attended his hearing at the Mardin 3rd Criminal Court via video conference, had a heart attack and died in the hospital he was borught to.   Mardin Chief Prosecutor's Office had made a statement about the subject matter and claimed that Akbaba had died one day after he was released. The family refuted the prosecutor's office, shared the death certificate proving Akbaba died the day of the trial.   Attorney Baday who reminded that Akbaba has been living with a prosthetic leg and a 90 percent disabled report, reacted to the court for not accepting their request of release. Baday also noted that even all the evidence had been gathered, Akbaba was not released again.     Attorney Baday who drew attention to the fact that prison conditions had an adverse effect on his client's health, said: "The insistance of the court, and the prison administration's not referring my client against the court order have lead to these consequences. Prison administration is obliged to obey the court order. Not reffering my client to a hospital despite the court order is negligence. We will make a denunciation regarding the subject."
